Being a student of Sri Vidya Mandir (2009-11) has shaped me into what I am today. The best things about it were inculcating a sense of discipline in each one of us and surely, the encouragement of our beloved Commerce teachers to strive for the best. The warm memories of Vidya Mandir bring a smile on my face every time I think about those best 2 years spent there!!

From working in an IT company for 2 years to starting my own firm, have come a long way. Every journey has an array of challenges and so did mine. “Never give up in life and you will get that one breakthrough which you seek”.

I wish all my fellow VMites and new batched the very success. Keep learning, because this is where you get your firm footing on the stream of your choice!

With a naive ambition to be a teacher in the future, I entered Vidya Mandir for my pre-university education. It proved to be one of the best decisions of my life as my two years journey in the institution was filled with not just academic progress but with immense opportunities to build my skills as a public speaker. The teachers in the institution have played a great role in reaffirming my passion and giving it a strong direction. Vidya Mandir also gave me a platform to build a leader’s personality which has been a big contributor to what I am today. I stand indebted to this alma mater for my lifetime! .

Vidya Mandir has been the institution which has played an utmost integral part in my life and my development. My life’s most important mentors are my teachers from this institution, who have been my guiding light, not only during the span of my education in Vidya Mandir but also for any other support and guidance in my life.

Had it not been for my teachers’ encouragement to participate in the stage events, I probably wouldn’t have been able to gather so much applaud and appreciation for the cultural events that I organize and compare for in my current work organization.

I am currently associated with AXA Business Services (Pune) on the role of Assistant Manager- UK Finance Operations, managing a team of 14 credit controllers who deal with UK Insurance Brokers. My continuous growth in my career in the last 5.6 years of my working experience is also a testament to the confidence that I have gained at the stepping stone of my education life while studying in Vidya Mandir.

I can never thank the entire faculty enough for all the guidance and support in my life. I have immense respect and love for the institution and my teachers and I take pride in being associated as a student of Vidya Mandir College.

I was initially worried about changing my school in 12th grade. However, joining Vidya Mandir College proved to be one of the wise decisions of my life. The college staff and students were instrumental in helping me adapt to the new environment. It provided me with quality education and all the support needed to develop my confidence. As an entrepreneur who leads a team of motivated individuals from various departments, I can truly value the effort that had gone in making me reach my goal. I will always remain grateful to my alma mater for teaching me life skills..

My life at VMIPUC made me stronger and took me a step ahead for being an independent man and added value to my life. I am thankful to all the teachers who supported and guided us throughout our Pre - University life. The institution gave me an opportunity to make new friends for life and facilitated opportunities to learn a number of things. It nourished me and thus gave me an opportunity to look at life in my own way.cheers !!!.

It gives me immense happiness and a very proud feeling to be an alumnus of Vidya Mandir Pre University College. Being from Vidya Mandir has been very helpful to me in shaping my career path. They don't just train you on subjects, they prepare you to face the outside world and get you life ready! They shape your future in the true sense. The teachers are very supportive contrary to the opinion of people that Vidya Mandir focuses only on academics. They always stress on the fact that we must always do what we are passionate about. They encouraged me to take up designing as a career because they saw the potential in me. The encouragement and support continues to this day. I can confidently say, Vidya Mandir is not just a college but a place where your dreams take shape with the best teachers backing you not just until you are in college ,but also beyond..

"If I had to call out one thing that made Vidya Mandir special for me, I would say it is the friendly environment that created a sense of belonging. PU was most certainly one of the most intense academic years of my life so far. While the rigorous teaching played a massive role in helping me navigate it, the encouragement to extra-curricular activities made it seem relatively easy and less stressful. The amazing fun I had during talent's day, sports day, annual day, and the class trip is something I cherish even after a decade. These experiences helped me bond with not just my friends but teachers as well. At Vidya Mandir, it felt like I was not just a roll number in the institution; I was a part of the institution."

For any student, the pre-university days are the most important in shaping one's career and life. After my 10th standard, I joined the newly opened Vidya Mandir PU College in the year 2002 and being just the second batch of students to enroll in this college, I was initially apprehensive about the faculty and the lab infrastructure. However, when the classes started and we were introduced to the faculty members, it became clear that joining this college was one of my best decisions. The college was founded on strong principles and every member of this institution was committed to them with the primary focus on improvement of each student. Be it extra classes or lab sessions or even directly interacting with the teachers in the staff room at any time, the students were always encouraged to strive for excellence. The college also made sure that along with the studies, there was a focus on extra-curricular activities through college day celebrations. My fondest memories are from our college trips to Coorg which helped us to bond with my fellow classmates as well as the faculty members. Over the years, I have witnessed the multi-fold growth of this institution (not at all surprised :) ) and I would like to congratulate every member of Vidya Mandir PU College for this success. I am ever so grateful to this institution for laying a strong foundation to my overall development. As the name suggests, this indeed is a temple of knowledge !!!

I remember my 2 years at Vidyamandir with such fondness. It was a great balance between academic rigour and a fulfilling college life. One thing that really stood out about Vidyamandir is the dedication and deep knowledge of the lecturers. College has been the foundation on which the journey of my life has been built, both personally and professionally, and I can never be thankful enough!

My journey at Vidya Mandir had been one of most memorable times of my life. The two years that I had spent in the college, not only provided a great academic foundation but also shaped my overall personality. My case was slightly different from my peers as I suffer from hemiparesis due to cerebral palsy. Despite my condition, it was heartening to have had an immense support from my teachers and my friends. From being the helping hands in my lab experiments to encouraging me to be a part of the cultural activities, the college was a pillar of support for me. The college, along with its rigorous academic training, also motivates students to pursue co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Some of the vivid memories of my pre- university days were of attending Inspire Workshop organised by Department of Science and Technology, our college trip to Ajanta and Ellora Caves and winning Surabhi in my second year.
